Death of Mrs. Christine Heer

Mrs. Christine Heer, the aged mother of David H. Heer, the well-known veterinarian, died in East Galena this afternoon. Deceased was a native of Germany but had lived in this country many years. She had out-lived the allotted three score and ten by more than eight-years. She was twice married, her last husband preceding her to the grave many years ago. She was a good Christian lady, and though advanced in years her death will be sincerely mourned.

The funeral will take place from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C. Neuschwanger (Christina), in East Galena, Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

She was born in 1811 in Germany and died May 4, 1889 in East Galena, Jo Daviess County, IL.
