Miss Mary Honahan, 89, passed away at 8:45 this morning at the H. W. Fleege residence at 413 Hill Street where she has been making her home for the past three years.

Funeral service for Miss Mary Honahan, lifelong resident of Galena were held Tuesday morning at 8:30 from the Furlong Chapel Home and from St. Michael's Church at 9:00. Rev. Russell Guccione actedas Celebrant, Father James F. Mulcaire of Hanover as Deacon and Father E. W. Kurth of Loras College in Dubuque as Sub Deacon.

Thomas Berry, Francis Ortscheid, Henry W. Fleege, Sam Sproule, Raymond Du Bois and James Collins were pall bearers. Burial was made in St. Michael's Cemetery.

Miss Mary Honahan, who passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, was born in Galena on April 27, 1861, daughter of John and Bridget (Daley) Honahan. Miss Honahan taught rural school and clerked in the Barry Brothers Store in Galena during her lifetime.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 from the Furlong Chapel Home and St. Michael's church at 9:00 o'clock. Friends may call at the Chapel Monday evening. The Rosary will be recited this evening at 8:00.
