"Mrs. Margaret Quigley"

Mrs. Michael Quigley, died very suddenly at her home on the hill Saturday night.  She retired early that night, and about 9 o'clock was seized with an acute attack of heart disease, to which she had for some time been subject, and in less than half an hour she was dead.  Her struggles for breath attracted the attention of her husband, who was alone with her when she died.  Dr. E. R. Kittoe was subsequently summoned and pronounced the cause of death to be as stated above.  The funeral was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, requiem services being conducted at St. Michael's church by Rev. C.J. O'Callaghan, D. D.  Deceased was a native of Ireland and was 60 years of age.  Her maiden name was Margaret Daley.  The family located in Galena about thirty-three years ago.  Her husband survives, with one daughter, who is the wife of J.J. Sproul of Rawlins township.  She also leaves three sisters, one of whom is Mrs. John Honohan, of East Galena.  The others live in Iowa. She was a good Christian woman and her sudden demise is regretted by many friends.
