Mrs. Anna King Dies Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Anna Heller King, wife of William J. King, died at 5:10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the residence, 1036 White Street, after an illness of several months' duration.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon from the home to St. Matthews Lutheran Church at 2:30 o'clock. The burial will be made in the East Dubuque cemetery.

Mrs. King was born in Galena, Feb. 22, 1874. She resided in East Dubuque for several years but moved to this city 25 years ago and had lived here since that time. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Armella and Meredith; her mother, Mrs. Mary Heller, Dubuque; four brothers, Charles Heller, East Dubuque; William Heller, Bellevue; Edward Heller, Dubuque; and Harry Heller, Butte, Mont,; three sisters, Mrs. W. L. Drake, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Joseph Berkley, and Mrs. John Hall, Dubuque. One brother, Leo Heller, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Moffet {sic Moffatt}, preceded her in death.

DUBUQUE FUNERALS
William J. King

Services for William Joseph King, 74, who died unexpectedly Monday at his home in East Dubuque, will be held at 2pm Saturday at the Egelhoff Funeral Home here. Friends may call after 5pm Friday at the funeral home.

The Herman P. Senft, of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, will officiate at the services, and burial will be in East Dubuque cemetery.

Born Nov. 9, 1879 in East Dubuque, Mr. King was a son of the late John and Elizabeth Kruser King. He married Anna Heller June 24, 1904. He lived in Dubuque until 1946 when he moved back to East Dubuque.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Armella) Simon and Meredith Ann Kig {sic King}, both of Thorndale, Tex.; a granddaughter, a niece and a nephew. He was preceded by his parents; his wife, on Aug. 11, 1926, four brothers and four sisters.
