Death of a Centenarian

Last night witnessed the death of the oldest inhabitant in this city, and probably in this section of the West, John Hurley, a native of Ireland, died at the residence of his son, William Hurley, at the advanced age of 100 years and 9 months. He suffered from no illness, and was quite active and healthy up to a short time before his death. He had been a resident of this city about fourteen years. His funeral took place this afternoon.
