Death of John Lynch
John Lynch died at his home on the East Side Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock of debility due to old age. He had been a resident of Galena nearly sixty years. He was born in County Limerick, Ireland, Dec. 25, 1809, and would have celebrated his eighty-sixth birthday had he lived until next Christmas. During the period of his residence in Galena he was employed chiefly by the city, on street work. His wife died seven years ago. He leaves two sons and one daughter, Thomas and Bridget Lynch, of this city, and Michael, who lives in California.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow from St. Michael's Catholic church.

The funeral of John Lynch was held this afternoon from St. Michael's church, Rev. J. E. Shannahan officiating. Interment was made in the East Side cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Jas. Kane, John Driscoll, A. McCafferty, Jas. Murphy, Patrick Ward and Wm. Doran.
