LEMMON--Services for Miss Marie Haines will be held 11am Tuesday at the Reformed Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Wildeman officiating. Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home.

Miss Haines died Saturday at her home in Lemmon following a lingering illness.

She was born Oct. 28, 1912 in East Dubuque, Ill., daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Haines.

She attended rural school in the Athboy community, graduated from Thunder Hawk High School and attended Northern State College, Aberdeen. She taught seven years in Perkins County schools, five in the Usta area. During WWI, she worked in a Boeing plant at Seattle, Wash. After returning to Lemmon in 1944, she clerked in a grocery store until 1959.

She was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church and its organist for 30 years. Surviving are her mother at Lemmon; three sisters, a brother, and 12 nieces and nephews.
