Phillip Heller died at the Edward Welter home in East Dubuque Saturday evening at 10:15 after a short illness, in his 85th year. The funeral service was held at the East Dubuque Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. John E. Flockhart officiated. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Laura Liddle of Dubuque, and one son, Richard Heller of East Dubuque, two brothers, Chris Heller of East Dubuque and Fred Heller of Rockford, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Stolte of Rockford and Mrs. Alfred Angster of Arlington, Va.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leo Dress, Ben Werner, Roy Liddle, Henry Bonnet, George Bock, and Dr. F. J. Kennedy.

Mrs. Amelia Heller, wife of Phillip Heller, died at 4:10 o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home in East Dubuque. Mrs. Heller had been ill for a long time, and died at the age of 67 years. She was born July 4, 1866, in Dubuque, and lived here until she moved to East Dubuque 36 years ago. She was married October 8, 1888, in Dubuque. Her husband and two children, Richard F. Heller of East Dubuque and Mrs. Eugene Liddle; two grandchildren, Richard F. Heller, Jr., and Jack Liddle, all of Dubuque, two brothers, Edward Finkenauer, Dubuque, and George Finkenauer, Independence, IA., survive her.

Her parents, Phillip and Catherine Finkenauer, and a sister, Mrs. Alex Gratz, preceded her in death.

The body is at the Egelhof home for funerals where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. Nevin Lyerly, pastor of the Immanuel Congregational church will officiate at the services. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
