GALENA MEN IN CALIFORNIA
"Hon. Thompson CAMPBELL, formerly of this city, has been elected to the State Senate from San Francisco. He is an unconditional Union man, and has lately made one of the most eloquent Union speeches ever delivered in California. He will no doubt, succeed McDOUGELL in the United States Senate, when M'D.'s term expires.
Hon. G.C. PRATT, of San Francisco, formerly of this city, has been elected Judge of the District Court of that District, and took his seat upon the bench on the 1st of January."
