Harry CRAWFORD-Harry Crawford, Former Galenian Dies Suddenly at Compton California.  Will Crawford of this city received the sad news Monday of the death of his brother, Harry, formerly of Galena who passed away very suddenly Nov. 27, in Compton, Cal., where he resides.  Mr. Crawford was born in Galena on July 7, 1888, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Crawford.  He lived in Galena for many years where he received his education.  He was employed in California as a lineman for an electric concern.  He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Shirley; one son, John; one brother, William, of Galena; and two sisters Annie of San Francisco, Cal., and Mrs. Mabel Mullen of Rockford, Ill.  The funeral will be held Wednesday from the Swedish Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, and interment will be made in Compton.-Galena Daily Gazette, November 29, 1938.
