FORMER GALENA LADY DEAD

Mrs. Margaret Selby Fairfax Dies at Burnside, Chicago, Last Saturday Night.  Mrs. Margaret Selby Fairfax died Saturday night at 8:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. Ellen Finn at Burnside, Chicago, at the age of seventy years.  She was born at Galena and left for Chicago twenty years ago.  Mrs. Fairfax is survived by a son William and daughter, Mrs. Finn, three grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Annie E. Jonas and brother, Charles Hatter, of this city.  

The remains arrived Monday afternoon at two-forty and was taken immediately to Greenwood cemetery where Rev. G.G. Heuver, pastor of the South Presbyterian church spoke a few words.  The bearers were E. Krueger, J.G.Schmohl, Joseph Dimke, F. J. Campbell, F.H. Turner and B. White.
