Mrs. R.H. Heller, Sr., 94, former Dubuquer, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.H. Stolte, in Rockford, Ill., Thursday night at 7 o’clock. Death was the result of complications after Mrs. Heller fractured her hip in a fall on last July 31, 1937.

She had been living in Rockford for the past one and one-half years. Prior to that time and from 1880, she lived in Dubuque. She was a resident of Galena from 1865 to 1880.

Mrs. Heller was born in Hessen Darmstadt, Germany, on August 15, 1844, and came to the United States with her parents when six years old. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Fromm. Their home here was in Hortonville, N.Y. On Dec. 15, 1862, she was married to R. H. Heller. They came to Galena three years later.

Mrs. Heller’s survivors are three sons, Philip and Christ, both of Dubuque, and Fred J. of Rockford; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Schwartz of Elmhurst, Ill., Mrs. L.H. Stolte of Rockford, and Mrs. Alfred F. Angster of St. Paul, Minn.; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Her husband and six children preceded her in death. She had been a member of the Immanuel Congregational Church and had been an active member of the Ladies Aid Society of that church.

The body is at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, where it may be viewed beginning Saturday noon. Funeral services will be held there Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The body will then be placed in a receiving vault and burial made Tuesday.
