Miss Bridget Hayden Dead

Dies at Home of John Gallagher on East Side

Miss Bridget Hayden died suddenly at 11 o’clock Sunday morning of heart disease at the home of John Gallagher, No. 308 Adams street, where she has been for some time.

The deceased had been ill for over a year, suffering with goitre, but for the past two or three weeks she began to improve, and her sudden death was a great shock to her friends by whom she was held in high esteem.

Miss Hayden was born on November 25th, 1856 and was consequently past 54 years of age. She was the daughter of Mr. ad Mrs. Patrick Hayden, who died several years ago. She is survived by two brothers, Michael of Apple River and John W. of East Galena; two sisters, Mary of Apple River and Mrs. Edward Costello of Warren.

The funeral will be held at 8:30 o’clock Tuesday morning from the house, and 9 o’clock at St. Michael’s Catholic church, Rev. Father Shannahan officiating. Interment will be made at the East Side cemetery.
