Miss Catherine Maginn, a life-long resident of this city, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. T. C. Runzler at Ottumwa, Ia., last Thursday evening following a fall down one step of a flight of stairs. Miss Maginn had been making her home at Ottumwa since May when a sister died here. The only survivor beside her sister is a niece, Mrs. F. W. Gilles of Ottumwa. Funeral services were held from the Bertsch Funeral home to St Michael's church at 9 o'clock Monday morning where Rev. James F. Mulcaire officiating (sic). Burial was made in St. Michael's cemetery.
