Dorothy Evelyn Montgomery dies of Diphtheria at Home on East Side

Dorothy Evelyn Montgomery died at her home, 405 Boggess street at six thirty o'clock this morning after a two weeks illness with diphtheria.The little girl, a daughter of Mrs. Jennie Montgomery, was born Feb. 5, 1914. Her father, Glenn Montgomery, was killed by being struck with a pump in the Blewett mine, April 23, two years ago. Besides her mother, little Dorothy is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Everett, Glenn, Alice and James. The child was an attendant of the East Side school, in the second grade, when she was taken ill. The funeral was held this afternoon at three o'clock, burial being made in Greenwood cemetery.
