Nora, Illinois -- George H. Stine, 80, of Nora died at 1:45pm Monday at St. Clare Hospital, Monroe, Wis., after a brief illness. His wife, the former Eva Steifel, died Dec 1. 1964.

Services will be at 1:30pm Thursday at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton, Ill., where friends may call after 2pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, Ill.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Schultz of Elizabeth, Ill.; Mrs. Vernon (Alverna) Virtue of Scales Mound, Ill.; Mrs. Ronald (Lila) Feary of Polo, Ill.; and Mrs. Alden (Arleta) Bretl of Stockton, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester and Nelson Stein, both of German Valley, Ill.; a stepbrother, Fred Thiele of Freeport, and a sister, Mrs. Emmert (Margaret) Haugh of Polo.

A Memorial Fund has been established.
