BEATRICE HUME


Mrs. Beatrice Hume, 95, Apple River, died Dec. 6, 1984 at LaFayette County Manor, Darlington, Wis.

Mrs. Hume was born on Sept. 22, 1889, to Joseph and Aramintha (Jackson) Kneebone at Scales Mound.  On Sept. 10, 1913 she was married to Stanley Hume, and they farmed most of their life south of Apple River.  They retired in 1943, when they moved to Apple River.

She was a member of the Apple River Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, John Maxwell Hume, one daughter, Mrs. Oliver (Ieleen) Lamont, both of Apple River.  She is also survived by her twin sister, Mrs. Edward (Florence)Gerber, Lena, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the Apple River United Methodist Church, Apple River, at 1:30 p.m.  Saturday, Dec. 8, 1984, with the Rev. Kirk Stump officiating

Burial was in West Ella Cemetery, Apple River.

Bartell Funeral Home was in Charge of the services.
