Ira Calvert

Galena, Ill.—Special: Funeral services for Ira Charles Calvert, 69, who died at 6:15 o’clock Monday morning in Finley hospital at Dubuque after a three days’ illness, will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the Nash funeral chapel.

The Rev. S. S. George of the South Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Calvert was born in Arthur, Wis., on Feb. 8, 1876. He moved to Galena 13 years ago, and had followed the business of mining all his life.

Mr. Calvert is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Rall of Rockford; three sons, Walter, Joseph and Ira, Jr., all of Galena; two grandchildren.

A daughter, Loretta, died March 3, 1933.
