Death of J. G. Schmohl

Mr. J. G. Schmohl, a prominent and well known merchant of this city, died last Friday at Elgin, Ill., of paralysis, aged 45 years and 6 months.

Mr. Schmohl had been a very active, energetic business man. Commencing life without means, he accumulated a fortune. His loss will be greatly felt in business circles and peculiarly so in his family. He leaves a wife, son and daughter.

The funeral will take place to-morrow, (Sunday) at 2 o'clock p.m., from the family residence. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
