Death's Grim Harvest

Patrick Maginn

Patrick Maginn died at his residence on Gear street at 8 o'clock Thursday, aged 65 years. He had been ill for about two years with a pulmonary disease. He was a native of Ireland, but came to Galena when a young man, and was a resident of the city forty years. He is survived by his wife and six daughters, one of whom, Miss Addie Maginn, is a teacher in the city schools. The mother of Mr. Maginn died only a few months ago. She was past 90 years of age.

The funeral of Mr. Maginn was held from the family residence on Gear street Saturday at 2 o'clock and was attended by a large number of friends. The services were held at St. Michael's church and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery on the East Side.
