Obituary - Theodore H. Guenther

Services Held in Elizabeth for Dr. T.H. Guenther. Dr. Theodore H. Guenther, 46, Galena and Elizabeth chiropractor, died about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at his home in Elizabeth.

Dr. Guenther was born in Holyoke, Mass., the son of Theodore and Erna (Gander) Guenther. He attended Holyoke public schools and Palmer College of Chiropractics, Davenport, Ia. In 1940 he was married to Helen Barch, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters and a son, Linda, Cynthia and John, all at home, and his parents.

Services were held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. in the Elizabeth Methodist Church with the Rev. B. C. Wahl, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Elizabeth Cemetery, where rites were conducted by Kavanaugh Masonic Lodge No. 36 of Elizabeth. All businesses were closed during that time.
