Thomas Mahaney Called by Death

Thomas Mahaney died at his home on S. Park Ave., this morning at 3:20 o’clock after an illness of one year. Mr. Mahaney was born April 15, 1879 in Scales Mound, and was united in marriage March 21, 1907 with Miss Daisy Reed who passed away about a month ago. Two children were born, one passing away in infancy, the other son, Floyd, surviving. One sister, Mrs. Mary Snyder of Dubuque and his mother, Mrs. Mary Mahaney, also survive. The funeral will be held Thursday morning with services at St. Michael’s Catholic church commencing at nine o’clock. Burial will be made in St. Michael’s cemetery.
