Stockton Township Records

The following records are those kept by Squire Weirich in Stockton. Squire Weirich was a shopkeeper in Stockton who keep very detailed records on the citizens of the Stockton area. Many of these families did not actually live in the town of Stockton, but in surrounding areas. The town of Stockton adopted Sq. Weirich's records as the official town records. Many of these contain information on birthdates that occured prior to 1800. This is an excellent source of information, but as usual, should be verified with additional research.

This index does not identify every family name that appears on the document, only the surname of the "main" family being recorded. You will want to cross-reference your research and check the pages for families that these people may have married into.
