Hi, My gg uncle, (Harry) LeRoy HEER who was the #12 son of David and Martha HEER of East Galena, married Myrtle RENWICK in about 1914. In Jo Daviess county, I am aware of a St. John's Lutheran Church that used to be located on Elizabeth-Scales Mound Road (it has since moved to Apple River). This isn't exactly close to Massbach - it is about 30 miles away I'd say, but it's a possibility? The membership of St. John's merged with that of Shepherd of the Hills Lutherhan Church in Schapville back in the 1950s or 60s I believe. If you would like, I can put you in touch with the church council president and maybe she can provide you with more information.. County Coordinator's
