Wedded in Early Morn

Miss Catherine A. Stephan and Mr. Wm. E. Cogan Take Nuptial Vows at St. Mary's

An early and quiet wedding was performed at St. Mary's Catholic church at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning when Rev. Father J. J. Brummell united in marriage, William E. Cogan and Miss Catherine A. Stephan, both highly respected residents of this city.

They were attended by Miss Celia Stephan as bridesmaid, and Joseph Young as groomsman. The bride wore a dress of white charmeuse, and the bridesmaid was gowned in white messaline.

At the conclusion of the ceremony a three-course wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride at which only the members of the families and a few friends participated. Mr. and Mrs. Cogan left on the 8:03 Illinois Central for a wedding trip in the East. They will be at home in a residence on the corner of Diagonal and Bench streets after the 15th of this month.
